Revenue Cycle Specialist
The Revenue Cycle Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of billing medical claims for our clients enrolled in advisory services. This will include but not be limited to: verifying patient eligibility, preparation and submission of authorization requests, preparation and submission of claims, denied and unpaid claims resolution, cash posting, answering billing questions, and patient billing and collections. The Revenue Cycle Specialist will work under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Management to ensure all claims are handled properly.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains the following revenue cycle management standards for each client enrolled in advisory services:
- 90% of accounts billed within 10 business days from date of service, with 100% billed within 30 business days
- 90% of denied claims worked within 1 business day of notification, with 100% of denials worked within 2 business days
- 90% of cash applications and adjustments made within 1 business day of notification, with 100% made within 2 business days
- 100% of patients receive monthly statements
- Maintain Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) of 45 days of less
- Prepare, review, and submitting clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or via paper
- Prepare, review and send patient statements
- Process and post payments from insurance companies and patients
- Follow-up on unpaid or denied claims and if necessary submit corrected claims
- Prepare, review and send refunds to patients and insurance companies
- Answer questions from patients, clients, and insurance companies
- Identifies and resolves patient billing complaints and report complaints to manager
- Follow and report status of delinquent accounts to manager
- Performs various collection activities including contacting patients and insurance companies via telephone, fax, and/or email
- Prepare, review and work all billing related reports
- Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
- Participate in education activities and attend staff meetings
- Conducts self in accordance with BioMedix Advisory Services' employee handbook

Professional Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience performing medical billing in a multi-physician practice or healthcare related organization
- Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid and other third party payors
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other third party payors billing standards and policies
- Strong understanding of medical billing and collection practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines/regulations
- Strong understanding of medical terminology

BioMedix Sales Associate will work directly with Sales Representatives and Regional Manager in designated Region/Territories to maximize PADnet/Software/PDMS sales, account test volumes, as well as overall BioMedix market awareness. Specific responsibilities will include the following activities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Daily/Weekly cold calling on potential accounts throughout the Sales Territory - give feedback to Regional Manager and home office on specific markets we should be marketing our products to
- Deliver on-site and on-line PADnet demonstrations to existing and potential customers
- Work with Regional Manager and Sales Reps to target and sell existing and future upgrades to current customers
- Work with Regional Manager and Sales Reps to close business within Region
- Deliver and implement BioMedix Practice Marketing Kits in installed sites - Ensure each PADnet customer has BioMedix Practice Marketing kit and has it fully implemented

Responsible for delivering PDMS Hospital and Health Care system sales objectives for your region.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work with Regional Manager (RM) and regional Sales Reps to identify and prioritize Hospital sales opportunities within Region
- Responsible for targeting, prospecting, presenting and closing Hospital business throughout Region
- Work with RM to attend/ manage hospital related tradeshows

Responsible for delivering sales objectives for your region while at the same time managing regional Sales Representatives' performance, productivity and expenses. Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following activities:

- Manage Region as your own business - this includes personal expenses as well as Regional Reps expenses
- Mange tradeshows/conventions in Region. Report post show results back to BioMedix Marketing

Customer Service Consultant
Responsible for interfacing with customers, company sales and clinical representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales and post-sales technical medical billing and/or clinical questions. Identify solutions that deliver exceptional software or hardware support which may include supporting physicians, medical office personnel, testing physicians, vascular specialists reading PADnet tests, hospital technicians and software administrators. Plays a leading role in building and maintaining a high performance and professional customer service support team that positions BioMedix as a leader in the vascular medical industry.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serves as company liaison with customer on technical and administrative matters, providing highly visible technical support to all customers
- Provide "on-demand" troubleshooting, diagnostics, acceptance testing and remote training, and utilizing professional technical expertise
- Advise customers on the proper applications and functions of BioMedix medical devices and software applications
- Concisely documents customer calls, emails, inquiries and resolutions into the company support system
- Utilizes professional judgment in determining which customer issues require a replacement product be shipped to resolve technical problems
- Responsible for playing a key role in supporting the BioMedix Quality System through accurate and timely documentation of customer contacts, independently determining whether a contact is a confirmed complaint and assessing root cause analysis.

Responsibilities are as follows:
Responsible for delivering sales objectives for your region including new PADnet™+ unit activations, PADnet™ DMS (PADnet™ Disease Management System), and Software sales which make up your total net sales quotas. Specific responsibilities will include the following activities:
- Accountable for monthly forecasts and sales quotas
- Manage region along with RM (Regional Manager) as your own business, including personal expenses.
- Monitor regional accounts monthly test volumes and develop strategy with RM to maximize monthly testing volumes for each installed account.
