Territory Sales Representative - Full Time

Description:   BioMedix Vascular Solutions is a rapidly growing Medical Device company based in St. Paul, MN looking for a top performing Territory Sales Representative. BioMedix Sales Representatives are responsible for delivering on sales objectives in regions with unlimited growth and upside. Call points include Primary Care Offices (Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Podiatry, other) as well as Vascular Specialists (Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and Vascular Medicine Specialists) specializing in the treatment of patients with Peripheral Vascular Disease.

Qualifications:
   Bachelor’s degree, plus 2-5 years sales experience as a top performer. Medical device/capital equipment sales background to primary care offices preferred. Candidate must be a proven relationship builder and be able to manage a large region with unlimited growth and opportunity. Knowledge of Peripheral Vascular Disease and the overall PAD market a plus.

Junior Systems Analyst/Programmer - Full Time

Description:   BioMedix is a developer, manufacturer, and worldwide distributor of vascular diagnostic devices and software solutions. BioMedix Junior Systems Analyst/Programmer will be a highly motivated, professional individual with good communication skills and excellent attention to detail and follow through. This position will support the R&D Developers with current and upcoming projects. 

Duties: Background in Healthcare a Plus as well as experience with Dicom and HL7 Practices. Responsibilities include: 

  • VB Programming and development (Advanced) with Windows Platform
  • Visual Studio experience in development, design, implementation and documentation
  • Ability to test and report bugs in Software Development by developers
  • Work side by side with developers to build Web Services for current and upcoming applications using Web Services calls and C#
  • Drafting V & V (Verification and Validation) Documentation, Conformance statements for software applications as well as revisions
  • Support calls for existing software products from clients mainly relating to HL7 and Dicom technology
  • Working closely with development staff for all projects
  • Ability to assist developers in creating application development plans (Design, Development, Integration, Test and Maintenance)
  • Work closely with development staff for upcoming UI (User Interface) implementation
  • Assist development staff in Maintenance and support of company website; changes, documentation and design as needed

Reimbursement Coordinator - Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY:
 
The position provides reimbursement-related customer service and support that enhances trusting relationships between customers, sales team, customer service, and the corporation by helping customers (providers and their office staff) resolve claim submittal and reimbursement issues. The position also monitors and creates updates on Medicare payment policies related to non-invasive vascular testing. In addition, the position assists in creating and updating reimbursement training and compliance materials for the sales team and other BioMedix employees. 
 
DUTIES :
 
  • Provide reimbursement support responsive to sales staff questions and customer needs.
  • Primary customer contact for all insurance and Medicare reimbursement issues, in collaboration with the national sales staff, and customer service
  • Serve as liaison between and payers and customers (physicians and their office staff) to identify and resolve claims issues.
  • Assist with the development of staff reimbursement educational materials.
  • Assist in the provision of ongoing reimbursement-related training to sales, marketing and other staff.
  • Participate in the reimbursement monitoring research process to proactively identify potential reimbursement issues in new and existing territories.
  • Collaborate with the reimbursement director in the development of proactive payment policy initiatives.
  •  Assist reimbursement director in creating and maintaining an ongoing analysis of national and state-level reimbursement issues.
  • Monitor governmental regulatory and reimbursement changes and assist reimbursement director in analyzing their impact on company’s product line. 
  • Assist reimbursement director in researching and developing medical policy materials that help to establish relationships with major payers and educate them about company’s products and their role in the care continuum.
  • Collaborate with the reimbursement director to maintain an ongoing compliance program for BioMedix staff
  •  Assist in creating educational materials for staff on laws and regulations related to provider reimbursement
  • Assist in monitoring staff comprehension of and compliance with reimbursement-related laws and regulations.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College graduate or high-school graduate with some post-secondary education.
  • Five years of experience in insurance and/or Medicare reimbursement for physician services, preferably with an emphasis on primary care services.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding, as well as NCDs and LCDs for non-invasive vascular studies.
  • Demonstrated self-starter; shows initiative to start, track and complete projects as assigned.
  • Skilled at:  delivering high quality service, organization, good communication skills (verbal and written), efficiency, and maintaining positive attitude.
  • Ability to: prioritize workload, multi-task, work in a team environment, use basic analytical skills, and complete tasks within deadlines. 
COMPUTER SKILLS:

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant - Full Time


General Job Description

BioMedix is a developer, manufacturer, and worldwide distributor of vascular diagnostic devices and software solutions. BioMedix currently has an immediate opening for a fulltime and permanent position for a highly motivated, professional Receptionist – Administrative Assistant, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail and follow through. This position requires direct interaction with customers and employees at all levels and serves as the “first contact” for customers via the telephone. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Primary recipient of all incoming phone calls from internal and external customers requesting assistance and support. Ability to triage calls, excellent message taking and professional voice.
  • Provide Administrative support to all levels of BioMedix staff.
  • Manage all office related activities. (i.e. copying, filing functions, copier, fax machine and printer maintenance.)
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing fax transmissions.
  • Responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail distribution.
  • Provide letter, correspondence, presentations and/or other documents and report writing as assigned.
  • Accurately maintains and coordinates the company ACT calendar, set up Go To Meeting as well as data entry functions.
  • Special projects as assigned. 

     NO TRAVEL REQUIRED. 

  Compensation:

  • Base Salary of $25,000 per year.
  • Salary will be paid in arrears in 24 equal installments on the first business day following the 1st and 16th day of each month, by electronic deposit through ADP.

Work Experience Requirements:

 ·          Education: Associates Degree or High-school graduate with some post-secondary education.
